09.30 am

Arrival at the Strépy-Thieu Giant Boat Lift. At the top of the work, visit to the “Spirit of Belgium” audiovisual experience and film about the build and the functioning of the lift

11.15 am
Back to the reception. Short walk (max. 10’) to the boat anchored downstream of the funicular lift

11.30 am
Boarding and departure

11. 45 am
Crossing the funiculare lift of Strépy-Thieu and boat trip towards Ronquières. Meal on board *

2.15 pm

Disembark upstream the Slopping Lock of Ronquières (no crossing). Visit to the “A boat, a life” audiovisual experience and access to the panorama at the top of the tower

4.15 pm
Boarding the boat and way back to Strépy-Thieu

6 pm
End of the daytrip
