12.30 pm

Arrival at the ticket office of the Cantine des Italiens (Italian’s Canteen), on the historic Canal du Centre. Transfer by little tourist train to the boat anchored upstream of hydraulic boat lift no. 1

 

1 pm

Boarding and boat trip to Strépy-Thieu. Possibility of having a picnic on board with compulsory purchase of a drink

2 pm

Crossing of the Strépy-Thieu Giant Boat Lift (downward) and continuation of the boat trip towards Thieu

3 pm

Crossing through the lock and hydraulic lift no. 4 (upward) and boat trip to Bracquegnies

4.30 pm

Disembark downstream of Bracquegnies boat lift no.3 and guided tour the power house

5 pm

Way back to the Italian’s Canteen with a little tourist train

5.30 pm

End of the trip
Possibility of having a break at the restaurant “La Cantine des Italiens”
